Nurse Clinics

The nurse clinics at Willett House are run by our nurse team of fully qualified Veterinary Nurses. They are able to offer free advice to clients on a variety of subjects, if you would like any advice please telephone the surgery or email a member of the nursing team direct, please do not use this service in an emergency situation.

Our nursing team can also provide certain services (at a charge) The nurses are pleased to offer the following:

Weight Clinics

The aim of this clinic is to provide you with a real chance of significant weight loss for your pet. At the first consultation the nurse will assess your pet by taking weight measurements and decide on the best route to positive weight loss, setting a goal weight and target date. Regular recording of progress and fine tuning of the diet plan, will assist your pet in reaxching his or her target weight. Remember an estimated 50% of our cats and dogs today are clinically obese, so you are not alone!

Puppy Parties

Adolescent Checks

During this check up the nurse will cover various topics including dental management, nutrition, parasite control, neutering, behaviour and training etc.

Dental Checks

Our pets' teeth need regular attention. The nurse can check your pets' teeth for dental disease and advise on teeth brushing and other aspects of dental care.

Basic behaviour advice.

Advice on Parasitic control.

Advice on administration of medication.

Nail clipping.

Microchipping.

Dressing changes.

Post operative checks.

Suture removal.
